A Global Day of Giving
Celebrated in over 90 countries, with people from over 150 nations participating, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving back. First conceived of in the USA in 2012 to balance the post-Thanksgiving excesses of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the movement is fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. The goal is to encourage charitable giving, and to raise both funds and awareness for important causes. Last year, over $3 Billion was raised in just one day of giving! Imagine what can be done around the world!
Be Part of the Global Movement
The traditional #GivingTuesday falls on end of November/early-December. Whether you come together with your family, your community, your company or your organization, find a way to give back and share your ideas to inspire others.
Whether you are an individual, or part of a group, you can participate in both online and offline campaigns, supporting causes you care about. While there is no fundraising or payment gateway on this portal, you can choose from several credible NGOs or partner campaigns featured here, and be directed to their respective websites/payment gateways.
It’s a simple idea. Just find a way for your family, your community, your company or your organization to come together to give something more. Then tell everyone you can about how you are giving. Join us and be a part of a global celebration of a new tradition of generosity.

GivingTuesday for the Arab World
GivingTuesday Arab World is an initiative of arab.org for promoting and expanding GivingTuesday across the Arab states.
The grand message is a “day of giving” but that message and logo can be tweaked to local flavors.
Together with partners and collaborators, the Arab World’s first official Giving Tuesday campaign has begun with Lebanon!
